Martin Jablow, DMD, is not only a great clinician, he is a speaker and an author. You can read his work on DrBicuspid.com and Dental-LearningHub.com's Apex Magazine. Dr. Jablow's online presence has extended to his dental blog, webinars, and as host of the Dental Entertainment Network.

 He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the ADA and NJDA, and has achieved fellowships in the AGD and International Academy of Dental Facial Esthetics. He also serves on the Dentalcompare CE Advisory Board.

After growing up in the Los Angeles area, Rich Hirschinger went to Tulane University and then to the USC School of Dentistry. He practiced dentistry for 10 years, including a successful practice in Beverly Hills. But an injury from an accident put an end to his ability to practice dentistry.

After selling his practice, Rich went back to school, this time to the USC Marshall School of Business to earn an MBA. It was during his MBA program that Rich developed the concept of creating websites for his fellow dentists. At the time, websites were mostly controlled by professional technology people, and one had to pay a fee just to have simple changes made to a website. Rich decided that dentists, who are accustomed to having control in their operatories, should have more control over their own websites, thus DDS.com was born.

Following his decision to start DDS.com, Rich performed research on what patients would like to see in a dental website, and what he would like to see as a practicing dentist. The company's first website product was developed as a result of this research, and much of the content was written by Rich himself. Over 10 years later, websites form the core of the DDS.com product offering, which has expanded into social media, blogs, and search engine optimization.

Dan Marut, DMD, is the President and Founder of Quality Dental Plan, an organization that connects dentists who wish to make a difference in their communities, with patients in need. With QDP, he strives to connect patients who have no dental insurance with dentists willing to work with the QDP plan.

Dr. Marut is a partner in the Ashland, OR practice that he purchased in 2002 and has been honored as the "Best Dentist in Ashland". The practice continues to grow.

Dr. Marut also founded NewDocs.com, a social network exclusively for dental professionals. He is also a lecturer and regularly writes articles for Dental publications such as Dentistry Today and Dental Tribune.

Bob Marcus, DMD is the creator of Kick Your Apps, apps for dentists. Sick of videos, posters, brochures, and inadequate drawings, he worked with a graphic artist and iPad developer to come up with Kick Your Apps. The Apps aim to increase production through better interaction with patients.

 The Apps include DDS App for patients to download; Homoly, a multi-part video program for the office; DDS GP, an app that provides illustrations to use in familiarizing patients with their treatment planning; and DDS GP Yes!, which adds assistance with verbalizing the treatment in addition to the DDS GP app.

Dental Product Shopper is a website that uses peer reviews from dentists and hygienists to evaluate and rate new products. Each product is scored on specific criteria and recommendations are made on the site. The evaluations are fair and the staff are not compensated for completing an evaluation.
