The money seems to follow, but by then the money doesn’t matter.

Man is a knot into which relationships are tied.

Goodmorning!

This is quick and off the cuff.  Most of the time I take the week to ‘build’ an email – but once in a while I just wing it!!

As many of you know by now, I have moved to a new place. I am looking out my loft at a beautiful view from the 4th story at all the people hustling and bustling. This is a  very happy and exciting new start on my life…but I am proud to say I have no regrets.  The right people keep coming into my life.  I have a strong faith in how I live my life.  Some call it Karma, a higher power watching over you. I just feel like when I try sincerely to give more of myself, I get it back 10X over.

And lately I have been very inspired – my mind has been on ‘success’ overdrive.  Thinking of ways to help my friends build stronger relationships within their own businesses, and how to help you get what you want out of every day – what we all want…. strong relationships with those we care about the most and happiness.

The money just seems to follow those who build on these principles…and the cool thing is it matters less and less the more it comes when you are doing these things.

The upcoming course is an example of what I mean.  Although it’s got a title of “Unlocking the mystery of no shows and cancellations” it’s all about a patient experience.  We aren’t going to try to show you how to make sure you call and confirm appointments…who doesn’t do that in some form already?

This is all about a patient experience.  It’s all about every member of your team. Hiring the right people. Sending the right message. Making sure not only to get the patient in the chair, but even more to follow up and make sure they are happy and well educated when they leave.

So many of you are just sending your ‘staff’.  That’s not the point.  You are the person most responsible for your business.  Are you sure your patients are getting the message of how proud you are of your talent, of how you handle your affairs?  Do you show how much you care from the point of hiring the best team all the way through to the most amazing patient experience? Do you follow up? Does a team member you trust follow up?

The reason you are on this list, and I kinda check on you so often is because I am VERY proud of how I handle my business.  I take a lot of time not trying to SELL you anything, but rather trying to get to know you better so I can UNDERSTAND how I might be able to help you.  That is a relationship. That is everything to me.

And I am happy.

This is the kind of thing I like to share with other friends at work.  If I am asked what makes me successful…it’s truly my relationships that take a lot of work, and also are only worth pursuing if it’s mutually beneficial.  I give 110% and ask for commitment and loyalty. And if there is ever an issue, it’s easier to discuss open and honestly that way.  In 28 years it has worked very well.

Most still don’t get it.  There are so many “fake ass used car salesmen” who are only nice until you buy something and have no skills or consideration on what it takes to get loyal relationships.  There are countless salesmen/consultant  who work hard to get to know you just so they can sell you something – then they are on to the next conquest.  No commitment. Rare loyalty.  This relationship thing in business can be an analogy for real life too…

There isn’t anything I wouldn’t try ethically to make your practice succeed!  I don’t always know the best prices on every product against every supplier – but I can GUARANTEE that I am better at the whole process than any staff member you could ever hire.  I want to be that guy for the life of your practice.

Can we do that?

My thought today….if you read nothing else…

“What makes people passionate, pure and simple are great experiences.  If they have a great experience with your product or service – they are going to be passionate about your brand!! They will be committed to it.  They will tell friends, brag about you – about how much better it is where they are compared to how they get treated.  It can be viral.”

It takes a commitment, a true passion and caring to get here.  I personally had to re-evaluate my life several times taking many small steps to be as lucky as I am in life knowing you….

Smile!
